The Walk Back to School

I know I've said this before but it's still true: I love the part about school when the kids and I walk to or from. It seems so neighborhoody or maybe a little old timey. (That last bit may be more true than I know, according to a recent piece by NPR. Although, as with most journalism, the case is probably grossly overstated to entice readership.) I hate cars and driving so anytime I can walk somewhere, I'm in. I think I'll start a gallery of pictures from our walks. (Hopefully that turns out more interesting than it sounds.)

This year is even more exciting for me because Oliver and Lola now go to the same school. Here's to a great 1st and 3rd grade year!
