Our Force Awakened
Quite by happy coincidence, Lola and Oliver got hecka into Star Wars at the end of this summer. I don't recall exactly how or why it happened, but our gateway was definitely Lego. Of course, the timing could not have been better with the arrival of the newest installment, The Force Awakens. In fact, we all got so into it we went to the first showing of the new movie on opening night. It was amazing. And then, a few days later, we saw it a second time. That's where those pictures above came from.The Star Wars trilogy were a few of the movies in my youth that I actually enjoyed. (For the most part I dislike movies.) I remember watching A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi so many times I could recite almost every line of the dialogue. Episodes 4 and 6 are still among the kids' top three movies of the series.I didn't get any good pictures of it, but for Halloween Mama dressed as Kylo Ren, Lola was Padme, Oliver was Obi Won Kenobi, and I went as Qui Gon Jinn.
