Still Snow
We talked a lot about going snowshoeing this winter–a monstrous winter of snow in the mountains. But a lack of willpower to investigate the options (a fancy way of saying laziness) meant we didn't get up once during the season. And here we are at the start of spring and we finally made it happen. It actually wasn't that difficult to plan. We went into REI the day before we planned to go to ask about rental equipment, which they had plenty of, and there are several "sno-parks" within a two-hour drive that are great places for beginners.
